Mr. Lewis is a founding member of the Indiana Structural Engineers Association (ISEA), serving as its President from 2009 until 2011.

Bio

With more than 40 years of experience in structural and construction engineering, Mr. Lewis has built a career marked by technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to quality. From 1998 to 2025, he owned and operated LJ Engineering in Columbus, Indiana, providing structural design, code review, inspection, and investigative engineering services for a wide range of projects. Earlier in his career, he performed forensic engineering investigations and expert testimony services, while also holding engineering, project management, and construction leadership roles overseeing facility design, multimillion-dollar projects, estimating, scheduling, and safety programs.

Today, Mr. Lewis has joined Enspect, where he continues to provide structural engineering expertise while helping expand the firm's presence in central Indiana. Drawing on his extensive experience, established professional relationships, and deep understanding of the regional construction market, he is focused on strengthening client partnerships, supporting business development efforts, and broadening Enspect's reach beyond its strong Northwest Indiana foundation. His addition enhances Enspect's ability to serve clients across a wider geographic area while maintaining the firm's commitment to responsive service and technical excellence.
