Mr. Van Ryn is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).

Bio

As Associate Principal, Mr. Van Ryn is experienced in the analysis and design of a variety of structural systems and components.  His involvement in projects includes the engineering of heavy industrial structures, commercial and institutional buildings, transportation structures, as well as individual structural components.  For both new structure design and the rehabilitation of existing structures, Mr. Van Ryn is able to use his technical knowledge of structural steel, reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry to provide an engineered solution.  Mr. Van Ryn works as an integral member of the overall design team by conferring with architects, contractors, and facility owners for successful project completion.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Mr. Van Ryn started his structural engineering career with Enspect, Inc. serving as staff engineer.  Mr. Van Ryn has also separately acquired professional engineering experience in the field of highway design.  Through his position as Associate Principal for Enspect, Inc., Mr. Van Ryn has contributed to a wide range of new design and rehabilitation projects.
