Mr. Matthews is a member of the Indiana Structural Engineers Association (ISEA), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Bio

Mr. Matthews is a Professional Engineer with over 17 years of structural and mechanical engineering experience on numerous projects throughout the country. He has expertise in a wide variety of building and mechanical systems, with a strong focus in the heavy industrial and manufacturing markets. Through his work, Mr. Matthews has gained experience with manufacturing facilities and processes, infrastructure, structural repair and retrofit, EOT crane and machinery systems, material handling and storage systems, piping systems, heavy equipment foundations, concrete repair, project/construction management and many other aspects of the profession.

Mr. Matthews began his career with the Department of Energy in Tennessee. In 2007 he moved into the greater Chicago area and began working for an environmental company. He then joined the Enspect, Inc. team in early 2008. Since that time, Mr. Matthews has filled many positions with Enspect, starting with an entry level inspector role to his current position as the acting Vice President of Industrial Services.

Mr. Matthews acquired his professional engineering license in Indiana in 2012, and since then has become licensed in over 13 states. While Mr. Matthews continues his active role as an engineer providing quality and cost-effective service to our clients, he also provides leadership to the Enspect, Inc. team as it continues to grow and diversify its unparalleled service, quality and expertise.
